WELCOME TO THE NATION
Are you ready?
A normal writing day for me is quite simple.
I wake up and make myself a coffee (sometimes I’ll have breakfast, depending on how late it is). I’ll get washed and then I usually read a little bit before actually writing. It really helps me to pick a book up and get in the mood, so I’ll read for half an hour before. Then, I make sure I have something to drink (usually a cup of tea or some more coffee) and sit down to write.
I tend to go through the last chapter or two to refresh my brain and then, ta-chan! I start writing. I don’t follow any kind of planning; I just sit and write whatever comes to me. Of course, there are always a few things I take notes on, important facts I want included, etc.
I write usually until 12 or 13.00 hours, and by then I need to stop. I currently work as a private English teacher, so I spend a few hours before lunch preparing lessons. Then I eat, read a little and off to work! When I get home it’s usually quite late, so I have dinner and then I sit back down in my little office and write a little bit more before bed.
I don’t have a lot of free time to write because of my work, but I do try to write as much as possible whenever I can.
