The SHANNON MUIR’S INFINITE HOUSE OF BOOKS column on Mondays and Wednesdays is a place at Shannon Muir’s author website showcasing books from a variety of fiction genres, with an emphasis on interviews and guest posts from other authors. One thing Shannon firmly believes in for readers not only to learn about new books available, but about those who craft the tales behind them. As its name implies, SHANNON MUIR’S INFINITE HOUSE OF BOOKS weekly column features writers from all genres of fiction who want their potential audience to get to know them, and their works, better.
INSIDE THE PAGES is the banner for posts that announce changes in the blog format or the brand, or latest news about Shannon Muir herself, versus commentary and observation posts by administrator and author Shannon Muir. This regards Shannon Muir’s own experiences with a new normal as the world grapples with a major health threat. INSIDE THE PAGES will now appear every Thursday going forward.
Last installment, I talked about how what’s going on affected me seeing my family relations.
At the same time, things transpired that also cut my ability to see my wider network of friends. My husband and I had plans to go to Wondercon 2020 in the coming weeks. That has been announced as being postponed at this time, as if they hope for a future date later this year.
No decision has been made yet on Comic-Con in San Diego. My suspicions are high it will be cancelled as well, but right now things are just in a wait and see stage.
I’ve always known I value the chances to see people only once or twice a year that I generally interact with virtually, but it really hits home to the heart now.
