The SHANNON MUIR’S INFINITE HOUSE OF BOOKS weekly column is a place at Shannon Muir’s author website open to interviews and guest posts from other authors. One thing Shannon firmly believes in for readers not only to learn about new books available, but about those who craft the tales behind them. As its name implies, SHANNON MUIR’S INFINITE HOUSE OF BOOKS weekly column features writers from all genres of fiction who want their potential audience to get to know them, and their works, better – and occasionally may offer features from Shannon herself that support readers to discover words.
DISCOVER WORDS… REFLECTIONS is usually a monthly blog series, the first week of every month, that focuses on readers and the discovery of words. As part of the anniversary celebration for SHANNON MUIR’S INFINITE HOUSE OF BOOKS, DISCOVER WORDS… REFLECTIONS posts will appear every Wednesday for the month of April. All blog posts written by Shannon Muir.
Change is hard, but sometimes inevitable.
There’s clearly a growing demand for people to want to have words discovered in other genres, not just the mystery/crime/suspense/thriller/SF/fantasy titles on THE PULP AND MYSTERY SHELF.
Three times a month (most Wednesdays of the month) is clearly not enough space to give opportunities to other genres. So, beginning next week as we transition out of April and into May, SHANNON MUIR’S INFINITE HOUSE OF BOOKS will appear twice weekly… every Monday and Wednesday. Right now, it will be all sorts of genres, but if enough submission types dictate a clear pattern Mondays may eventually feature a certain genre or post type (for example, only guest posts on Mondays and interviews Wednesdays). Right now, I’m just going to set aside the days and let it grow organically.
Now I’m going to leave you the entire month of May to settle into discovering new reads every Monday and Wednesday with SHANNON MUIR’S INFINITE HOUSE OF BOOKS. The DISCOVER WORDS… REFLECTIONS column will resume in June as the first Wednesday of every month.
Until the first week of June!
