The storytelling on DUCKTALES has been so incredibly fantastic, and so much a tribute to all that has come before at the same time. It’s well been worth the ride.
On a personal note, it has been an absolute joy to see Matthew Humphreys evolve from storyboard artist to director. About ten years ago, he sat next to me as an artist for a company called Neopets, while I worked on matching available programmers to work on games for the site. I thought of him as an amazing, talented person back then. I’m so glad to see him still doing what he loves.
I thought about putting a trailer for this one, but everything available (including the official stuff) is very spoiler-heavy. Check out this show today, if you haven’t already. You won’t regret it.
