Book Description:

Anna Frost had a bad feeling when her twin sister, Liz, told her she’d run off with a member of the notorious Otherworld biker gang, the Blood Ravagers. And her unease skyrockets when her sister subsequently vanishes. The police have no authority and little interest, so Anna decides to take matters into her own hands by infiltrating the group to discover for herself what happened to Liz, where she meets….

Dante, half demon, half human. A mix of two worlds, accepted by neither, he’s had no choice but to learn the hard way how to play whatever side of the fence kept him alive during his nearly 500 years of existence. Now, as second-in-command of the Blood Ravagers biker gang, his survival depends on keeping his humanity a secret. Dante’s ultimate goal is to fulfill the vows he made over two centuries ago to create a world where half-breeds can live in safety and equality.

But when sheltered schoolteacher Anna finds unexpected, white-hot passion in the arms of Dante, will her quest for the truth cost him more than he ever bargained for? Or will they find a way to save Liz – and their love – together?

Interview with the Author:

What initially got you interested in writing?

While I’ve made up stories to entertain myself my entire life, I never considered writing them down until November of 2011 when I had a dream that wouldn’t go away. In order to keep my sanity, I decided to commit the story to paper. A month later, I had a 100K+ book and no idea what to do with it. LOL.

How did you decide to make the move into being a published author?

After doing online research and joining a few writers’ groups and getting feedback on my work, I started to consider the possibility that maybe, just maybe, someone else might want to read the story I’d written too. So, after polishing that 100K+ manuscript and whittling it down to a more manageable 70-80K, I started querying agents and publishers. It took six months and quite a few rejections, but that manuscript was eventually bought and became book one in my Seven Seals Series.

What do you want readers to take away from reading your works?

Honestly, I just want to give readers a good time, some entertainment, and hopefully help them get lost in a fantasy world for a few hours and forget their troubles and reality for a while. If I can do that, then I’ve done my job.

What do you find most rewarding about writing?

Getting to meet the other awesome people in the writing universe, connecting with readers, and getting to use my creativity every day.

What do you find most challenging about writing?

First drafts are the most challenging for me. I’m such a perfectionist that it’s hard for me to turn off my inner editor and just get the words down. But I do it and revisions are my godsend.

What advice would you give to people want to enter the field?

Read. A lot. Across all genres, not just the one you want to write in. Join writer organizations and connect with other writers, either online or in person. Get your work critiqued and edited before sending it out into the world. Be persistent. That’s half the battle in the publishing world. Develop a thick skin and never, ever give up on your dreams.

What ways can readers connect with you?

I’m most active on the following social media sites: FB, Twitter, Pinterest. Also, readers can e-mail me through my website anytime and find out any upcoming appearances I may have on the Events page at my website: www.tracidouglass.net. And you can join my author newsletter there too (that way you’ll get all the news, plus subscriber-only goodies straight to your inbox!) J

Thanks so much for having me on your blog today and Happy Reading! 🙂
